Slime Attack: Puzzle! is a tower-defense game that features parking-lot-sorting, bubble-popping and brick-breaking fun. The player helps an archer defend a high tower in a forest against an attacking force of sentient slime blobs.
If the blobs reach the tower, they eat the stone and reduce the number on the banners that mark each of the tower's sections. If they reduce a banner number to zero, the attached stone section dissolves and the tower decreases in size. The only way to stop the attack is to supply the archer with enough large-tipped, color-matched arrows to defeat the invading force.
The player sorts colored boxes marked with white arrows below the attack zone to transfer four boxes to waiting areas that equip the archer. If they are willing to watch advertisements, they can provide the fighter with three more boxes for a total of seven to use at any given time during an attack.
Slime Attack: Puzzle! provides two boosters along the bottom of the screen. The left one allows the player to remove a box from anywhere in the sort area. This action can help the player unblock a box that contains a needed color or a specific number of arrows. The right one allows the player to remove an unneeded box from the equipment area, which makes it possible for them to switch arrows when the colors of the attacking force change rapidly.
